General Memorandum of Activities

Minimum 7 days, maximum 12 days – Core Date: Monday, August 2, 2027 – LUXOR
ASTRONOMY AND COSMOGONY
- Guided observation of the total eclipse (August 2) – Location: LUXOR in Karnak and/or Luxor Temples.
With telescopes and guest astronomers. A collective meditation during totality may be included.
- Talk: "Astronomy in Ancient Egypt and Its Connection to Cosmic Cycles" – In Dendera, under the stars — ideal setting to discuss the Zodiac and astronomically aligned temples.
- Hands-on workshop: "Build Your Own Egyptian Sundial" and/or “Paint your experience” – live painting that blends science, art, and history.
ART AND CREATIVE EXPRESSION
- Traveling Art Exhibition by Dan Aug: “A Dream Night in Giza” – 40 artworks (2002–2027) at GEM or temple, with immersive sound and light.
- Visual arts workshop: “Your Vision of Kemet” – Paint or sculpt inspired by the expedition.
- Night performance: “Neferu Lives Again” – Mystical dramatization with live music, ritual dance, and projections.
KNOWLEDGE AND REFLECTION
- Roundtable: “Mysticism, Technology, and Legacy in Ancient Egypt” – Scientists, Egyptologists, artists, and thinkers in dialogue.
- Creative writing session: “Letters from Giza” – Poems, letters, or stories from the voice of an ancient soul or cosmic traveler.
SENSORY AND SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES
- Guided meditation in the King's Chamber (Great Pyramid of Khufu) – Small groups. A symbolic rebirth ritual.
- Sunrise boat journey on the Nile – Sacred texts and live music (harp, ney, voice).
- Opening and closing ceremonies in temples – With elements, sacred words, and solar dance.
DOCUMENTATION AND DISSEMINATION
- Documentary-style audiovisual recording – To be edited into a short film or series.
- Daily podcast from Egypt – Interviews, chronicles, and reflections under the stars.
- Illustrated travel book – With texts, drawings, photos, and reflections from participants.
