Dan Aug’s Artistic Statement

“My artistic statement is deeply rooted in the mystical union between Science and Art, specifically in the fields of Astronomical Science, Astrophysics, Cosmology, Quantum Physics, and Mysticism.  Through my Art, I strive to express the beauty and wonder of the universe, as well as the profound connections between science and spirituality.
My creative process is a magical communion between my knowledge and understanding of these scientific and mystical concepts, and my intuition and inspiration as an artist.  It is in these moments of deep connection and understanding that my creativity is sparked, and my Art takes on a life of its own.  Furthermore, in these moments, my inspiration flows freely, and I can capture the essence of the cosmos. Thus, when these elements come together in a perfect harmony, I can create ART that is both visually stunning and intellectually stimulating
In other words, my art seeks to capture the mystery and complexity of the universe, from the smallest subatomic particles to the vastness of space and time. Through intricate patterns, vivid colors, and otherworldly imagery, I hope to convey the awe-inspiring nature of the cosmos, and to inspire viewers to explore these fascinating topics for themselves.
